The Memphis Grizzlies announced their promotional schedule including several wrestling nights and community events.
The Grizzlies will have several wrestling nights this season. The giveaway items include a Grizzlies Wrestling T-shirt (Nov. 10), a “Winter Slam” Holiday greeting card (Dec. 15), a Wrestling scarf (Feb. 9), and a Grizzlies Championship title belt (March 23).
The Grizzlies also have major promotional community events this season. On November 16, the team will have the Kroger Zero Hungry Zero Waste event which fans could snag a Marc Gasol cooking apron. Then on December 14, the Grizzlies will have their Holiday Game where fans will have a chance to get a Mike Conley “Elf on a Shelf”. On Feburary 22, fans have a chance to snag a Jaren Jackson Jr. “shoot dance” figure.
The Grizzlies also announce a new bike ride to FedEx Fourm promotion named Tour de Grizz on April 7. The last event is Fan Appreciation Day where everyone will receive a Grizzlies poster when the team takes on the world champion Golden State Warriors on April 10.
The annual Martin Luther King Jr. Game against the New Orleans Pelicans is scheduled for January 21.
Other Grizzlies events include Grizzlies Health Night, Hoops for St. Jude, and Flashback Friday.
The first promotion takes place during the Grizzlies first home game against the Atlanta Hawks on October 19. The first 10,000 fans will receive a Grizzlies MEM Headband.
