The Memphis Grizzlies lost tonight against Miami. Grizzlies played their young talent, but Miami’s experience outscores Memphis, 115-89.

Memphis Grizzlies Quick Hits

Deyonta Davis was a bright spot in the loss to the Heat. He took it to Hassan Whiteside in the post and from midrange. He also caught a few alley oops. He came away with 14 points and seven rebounds.

JaMychal Green came away with a double double. He showed efficiency in the mid range and post. His night ended with 10 points and 11 rebounds.

Andrew Harrison had a decent night from the floor. He ended up with 17 points, six assists and four rebounds.

In the first half, Kobi Simmons was passing the ball with purpose. His zip to Ivan Rabb for the finish was a huge boost for the Grizzlies in the first half. He ended up with six points and three assists.

Dillon Brooks had an off night offensively. His defense was still solid, as he finished with two steals on the night. He ended up with eight points, three assists and two rebounds.

Neutral Hits

The Memphis Grizzlies shot 44 percent from the field, while the Heat shot 46 percent in the game.
The Grizzlies made less than half of their 3-pointer’s. The Heat shot more threes but only made a little over one-third of them.

The Heat made more free throws, points inn the paints, rebounds, and bench points than the Grizzlies.
The Grizzlies had more turnovers than the Heat; most of them came in the second half.

Hits from the Enemy

Bam Abedayo had two highlight dunks against the Grizzlies. He ended up with 13 points, one assist and seven rebounds.

Justice Winslow was a beast scoring inside and out. He shot 58 percent from the floor, 67 percent from deep and made half his foul shots.

Hassan Whiteside struggled in the first half with Davis guarding him. However, he had a decent night with 12 points, two assists, and eight rebounds.

Tyler Johnson was the leading scorer of the night. He could not miss from deep or in the paint. He ended up with 23 points, one assist, two rebounds while making nine free throws.

The Memphis Grizzlies will play against the Boston Celtics on Monday, February 26. The game starts at 6:30 p.m.
