Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC’s will be featured, along with LOC students, during the college’s annual LOC Sunday Celebration, set for  April 12 at Brown Baptist Church South Campus.

In addition to music and dance performances. LOC students will showcase artwork, photographs and science eperiments, beginning at 3 p.m.  Performances begin at 4 p.m.

Lee Williams and the Spiritual QC’s originated from Tupelo, Mississippi in 1968, but they have recorded songs since 1990s.

Some of their albums included Good Time and Jesus is Alive and Well.  The group recorded Right on Time at Temple of Deliverance in Memphis.  They were nominated for the 2001 Soul Train Awards for best gospel album Good Times. During the 2010 the Stellar Awards the group was awarded the James Cleveland Lifetime Award.

Tickets, which cost $5, will be on sale at the Office of Institutional Advancement from 9 a.m-4p.m through April 10.
